Profile

Background

I am a member of Princeton University's class of 2029, focused primarily on computer science, and a freelance developer and tutor with experience in full-stack web development and academic coaching in STEM subjects. I have been coding since the age of 5 and have learned about computer science both in the classroom and through personal projects. I am a graduate of Princeton High School, having taken 9 AP Courses as well as multiple post-AP courses and MAT 214 at Princeton University my senior year. I have experience in labs and working on computer science through Princeton’s Learning Lab Program. This experience and knowledge helped me with my computer vision project, which was a semi-finalist in the Regeneron Science Talent Search. I am also a sprinter for Princeton University’s Track and Field team, which gives me a unique perspective on certain matters.

Approach

Tutoring

I believe in the classic med school saying “see one, do one, teach one” for just about everything. I believe it is important not just to be able to do the problems and work assigned, but to understand it to be able to better apply it to future topics. Everyone is capable of learning, it is just a matter of finding the style of learning that works best. I strive to not just help students learn and get the answer, but to give them a better understanding and appreciation of the content. I hope to not only provide a sense of understanding but also help others build confidence through mastery.

Coding

I am a bit of a perfectionist and I make sure that all the work I deliver is the highest quality. I focus first on the big picture, working with you to figure out exactly what you want, and then I figure out how best to go about it in order to get the best results. I also believe in free information and will provide any and all sources and all the code as well as instructions on how best to use it and for applications teaching the future users.
